Wedding Cakes

An engagement or a wedding is an important milestone that begs for a cake to capture the essence of the event. Essence Cakes would be honoured to be a part of your special day.

For bridal and groom's cakes, mini cakes, wedding cupcakes, and favours, we offer consultations and cake tastings in a relaxed environment. During the meeting, you will be able to view different cake designs from our portfolio and cake magazines and discuss our Wedding Cake menu.

You are encouraged to bring other sources of design inspirations such as your wedding dress picture, invitation, or flower and colour samples. After the session, we will send you a sketch of your cake design to review.

We understand that you have a lot to do while planning the wedding, and that is why we strive to make the cake selection process as fun as possible.

CONSULTATIONS/APPOINTMENTS

There is a $25.00 charge for cake consultation appointments. Consultations are available for wedding and event cakes of 50 servings and more. Consultations last for 45 minutes and limited to a party of three. You will be given 4 cake samples to taste. If you book your wedding cake with us, the consultation fee is deducted from your order.

    • Think of something fun and exciting for the cake - sports, pets, hobbies, favourite TV characters, professions, etc., and we will do the rest.

    Please confirm your order no later than one week before the event date. Payment is required to confirm your order.

    3D/Carved/Sculpted Cakes


    We love to make sculpted 2D and 3D cakes. Please note that, because these cakes are works of art that involve carving cakes to the desired shapes, they look different from one order to another. As a result, your cake may not look exactly like the one you see in our gallery. Our 3D cakes are priced from $150.00
